GUIDANCE FOLLOWING GOVERNOR SISOLAK’S ANNOUNCEMENT

Following Governor Sisolak’s announcement that all non-essential businesses are to close temporarily for 30 days effective 12pm on March 18th, there has been a lot of confusion as to which businesses that applied to.

To provide some additional guidance, the Nevada Health Response COVID-19 Risk Mitigation Initiative was issued, outlining social distancing guidelines, a listing of essential and non-essential services and sectors, food and beverage establishment guidance, gaming and more.

The Governor, Nevada Health Center, and local and state health authorities intend to revisit this guidance on a regular basis to evaluate the continued public health needs and whether there need to be any changes.
