The Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) requiring private employers with 100 or more employees to require all employees be either fully vaccinated or tested weekly for COVID-19 has been released. Many employers have been preparing for this mandate to go into effect since President Biden made the announcement back in September. However, others have been holding off since there have been some unanswered questions. Now that the ETS has been released, we have more information about what is required, from whom, and when to ensure covered employers are in compliance from day one.
