Description
Beginning July 1, 2025, certain Nevada employers that do not currently offer a retirement plan for their employees will be required to enroll employees and make contributions to a state-run plan, the Nevada Employee Savings Trust (NEST). The intent of NEST is to provide a simple and easy way for Nevada workers to save for retirement.
This training will provide an overview of NEST to help Nevada employers understand their obligations. This will include which employers are subject to this requirement, what makes an employee eligible for enrollment in the plan, and how the plan is intended to work.
