Nevada Minimum Wage 2025
Nevada Minimum Wage 2025 Update
As of July 1, 2024, the minimum wage in Nevada has increased to $12.00 per hour for all employees, regardless of whether their employer offers health benefits.
This change affects all Nevada employers and is crucial to maintaining wage law compliance. Whether you’re a small business owner or managing a larger workforce, it’s essential to stay informed and updated to avoid costly penalties.
Current Minimum Wage in Nevada (Effective July 1, 2024)
- $12.00 per hour – This is the current minimum wage for all employees in Nevada.
- The previous two-tier system (based on health benefits) has been eliminated as of this update.
How Nevada Minimum Wage Compares
- Federal Minimum Wage: $7.25 per hour (unchanged since 2009)
- Nevada Minimum Wage: $12.00 per hour (as of July 2024)
Nevada’s rate is significantly higher than the federal minimum wage and must be followed by all employers operating within the state.
